Your photo never leaves your device
Last updated: 2026-08-19
The short version
- Your photo is analysed in your browser and is never uploaded.
- No account, no cookies, no analytics, no ad pixels, no tracking.
- No third-party script runs on these pages.
- Nothing about your analysis is stored — not even by you.
1. What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Face Shape Report has no account system, no login, no contact form and no email capture. There is no database behind this site, so there is no place for personal data to be stored even if we wanted it.
We do not set cookies. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heatmaps or A/B testing. No third-party script runs on these pages, which also means no third party learns that you visited.
2. Your photo
The face and eye tools need a photo. That photo is read directly by your own browser and analysed there. It is never uploaded, never transmitted to us, and never sent to any other company. There is no server that could receive it — this site has no upload endpoint at all.
The analysis runs on Google’s open-source MediaPipe Face Landmarker, which we serve from this site’s own domain rather than from Google’s CDN. Google therefore receives no request, no IP address and no signal that you used the tool.
Nothing is kept. When you close the tab or navigate away, the image and the landmark data are gone from memory. There is no history, no saved result and no link to share a past analysis, because none of it was ever stored anywhere.
Because the photo never reaches us, we never hold biometric identifiers as defined by laws such as Illinois BIPA or Texas CUBI. The measurements are derived and discarded inside your own device, under your control.
3. Server logs
This site is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel’s infrastructure processes the technical request data needed to serve a page — IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested and a timestamp. We do not query, export, join or retain these logs, and they are not used to build any profile of you. They are held by Vercel under its own privacy policy and expire on its schedule.
Fonts are served from Google Fonts’ infrastructure at build time and bundled into the page, so your browser makes no request to Google while you read this.
4. Your rights
UK and EU visitors have rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR to access, correct, delete, port or object to the processing of their personal data. California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to opt out of any sale or sharing.
We can honour all of them trivially, because there is nothing to produce: we hold no personal data about you, we sell no data, and we share no data with anyone. If you want that confirmed in writing, or you believe we hold something we should not, email contact@faceshapereport.com and you will get a reply from the person who built the site.
5. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, of any age. The tools are on-device measurements with no account and no payment, so there is nothing for a child to submit.
6. Changes
If this site ever adds something that processes your data — an upload endpoint, analytics, an email list, affiliate tracking — this page is updated in the same change that adds it, and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting something and document it later.
